i can't remember the name of an old PS2 game. HEEEEEEEEEEELP!!?

okay. i remember a little bit but not a whole alot.
okay first i know you play as a young boy and you somehow venture into this completely white castle. and you wander around this castle and try and find your way to one of the towers. once you get there. you stand at the bottom of a VERY long (broken in some places) staircase. you run (and jump) to the very top and there are many huge cages hanging from the ceiling. one of the cages has a girl with light gray (almost white) hair. i think that she is like a old friend or princess or something. you have to help her excape from the castle (which is overrun by these dark, monster shadow creature things) this castle is like a freakin' maze O.o. and you have to try and not get her or yourself killed by these creatures. and she is like an obediant dog. she follows you untill you tell her to stay and she will come to you if you call for her. (this game has prtty good grafics btw) and thats pretty much all i remember :/ i played this game like.... twice when i was little and this is the second time i forgot its name >.<
 
The best thing here to do is find out what type of game it is and google search. e.g if its a sports game googole playstation 2 sports games. I hope you find the game your looking for
 
I think it's Resisdent evil 4 you're talking aboutthat is my guess it meant your description so check out resident evil 4 trailer at youtube to see if I'm right.
