I can't stop talking to this girl?

Okay so there's this girl that a talk too and see from time to time. About a month and a half ago, i liked her and i told her that i did. But she said to me she likes me as well but she's sick of boys messing her about and it's not like she thinks i'll mess her about she just wants a break. So i was just like meh okay. Now fast forward to the present day and i don't know if i still like her or not... I always talk to her on facebook chat, and it's not exactly me just popping up to her, i try not to talk to her and she talks to me. But i don't want to be an asshole and be ignorant because i hate ignorant people so i'm not going to be a hypocrite. I want to stop talking to her because it's going to make me want her again.. And i can see she would rather be friends than anything else. But i just need some time to basically move on... Any ideas how? Don't just say ignore her and tell her because i'm not the type to do so...

Got yourself in a bit of a pickle.
I guess all you can do is bring yourself to accept the fact that she only wants to be friends and try not to get too emotional about her.
Or
Can just do what you feel is right to do and what you want to do and let nature run it's course.

The best way: meet another people, or get another girl friend that will take up your time that's been taken up by the current one!
