I connected my AKAI XR 20 to my computer, how do I make it work in FL Studio?

I just bought my akai xr 20 and got a MIDI to USB chord. I plugged it all in, and I was wondering what I need to do to make it work in FL Studio so I can make some music? I have the latest FL Studio, Producer edition.
