I Desperately Want My Mum To Be Nice To Me!?!?!?

I realllly want her to be nice to me and be proud of me.
I'll give todays example, but it happens EVERY day...
I come home from my exam which I've been revising for all week (which she doesn't encourage me or praise me for) and she asks how it was. When I said it went fine but some of the questions were hard, she was like "blah blah you should have revised more then blah blah you have no exam technique.. you best get a good mark or me and my father will be dissapointed..."
and this was before I'd told her about it properly. So this puts me in a bad mood (I think she loves to argue) and I can't win with anything she says. She tells me i'll be very busy tonight with revision and not to come down til it's done.

SHe always nags me and tries to provoke me into getting angry and flipping. Sometimes I sit there in silence while she rips into me and hold my breath to stop from retaliating.
Then I go upstairs and cry. EVERY night.

WHat can I do to earn her respect and make her be nice to me!!>!>?? It;s making me really upset that I can NEVER please her.

Get some books on fighting fair, read them and then share them with her. Tell her she really hurts your feelings sometimes and you want to both use the same rules to resolve differences. Maybe you don't need to read it, but she does. If you do it first, then you can ask her to. Tell her you want to have a good relationship with her.
