smartphone into my computer to get a signal? My new office has no windows & thick concrete walls. As a result, I don't get any cell phone service. Is there anyway that I could plug my smartphone (Droid Incredible) into my computer (or modem/router) and get a signal that way??? I know my phone can work on WiFi, but there is no WiFi in my building. I really need to be able to get and recieve both texts & phone calls, as well as surf the internet on my phone while in this office. Does anyone know if this will work??? And if not, does anyone know of any other soultions that I could try??? THANKS!!!
 
just curious why you need to surf the internet on this phone. why not use the computer ? but no, plugging the phone into the computer won't increase the signal. if you have skype, you might be able to use that in place of your regular cell phone provider, but that's about all you can do.
