I don't have on demand on directv?

I just got directv and I've heard that it has on demand ( to watch free shows ). Its supposed to be on channel 1000 but when i checked there is no 1000 so I'm wondering if they've deleted that channed ( which would be stupid ) or if i have to buy it.

you must have their current hd dvr connected to your internet to access what they consider "on demand" content. its nothing like the cable company's on demand feature. directvs on demand is ppv. they call it "on demand" because you can place your movie purchase " on demand "

Weird! I have directv and I never knew they had on demand! I don't even think they have on demand! I had direct tv for 2 years! Maybe you could ind out on the direct tv site
