...messages me every couple of days? I'm in my forties and met a lady at a relative's party in May and we just got chatting and gave each other phone number.
The next week she asked did I want to go out for tea (dinner) on the Friday night, I told her she was welcome to come to the local club that my husband and I were going , which she did( she's single). That was OK.
It's just that every couple of days she asks do I want to meet her for coffee, did I want to go out for tea last night (I had to say no, cause I was working late). Then she said how about coffee today, which I went to the local cafe at the shops and spent a couple of hours with her.
Then as I was leaving to come home, she asked what we were doing tonight, and I told her my husband was working and she said, Oh , I might come round. She just rang and I made an excuse that I wanted to have an early night, cause she's starting to annoy me, being so full on, not that I said that obviously, just that I was going to have an early night.
I hope it didn't sound rude, but I just felt like a quiet night with a book , besides - I just saw her today!
What do you think?
Was that rude?
