I don't talk very much in front of my friends?

I have come from Birmingham in the West Midlands and about 2 months ago moved to devon, i'm 14 years old so I had to change schools. In my school i have 3 friends who I hang around with at dinner. I don't talk much/ hardly at all mainly because I have a disgusting Brummy accent which people always joke about. I speak to them separately OK, but when we're in a group I just become silent and they probably think I'm a freak! How to I gain confidence to speak in front of them all together?
