them to a DVD? I downloaded .bup .ifo and .vob files. They are all in folders but how do I burn them to a DVD? Do I need a special program? What kind of DVD should I buy? DVD R or DVDRW? Will the DVD need lots of space or would a normal one probably function? Is there anyway to play these files through a program on my computer? PS I have a mac. Thank you!!

What the... ???? You shouldn't be trying to gather various .bup .ifo and .vob files. A DVD disc has lots of files on it. You should just have all of them. Copy all of them to a DVD disc, right-click the DVD icon, and choose "Burn". It's just that simple. [NOTE: The files do not actually "copy" until you burn the disc.]

In other words, you DO NOT need any burning software to burn any CD or DVD in OS X. You need iDVD to convert a movie file (such as "Titanic.MPG" or "Avatar.MP4" to a group of DVD files. It also has options to create a menu with chapters.

If you have the whole, original DVD disc, you can make a duplicate of it. To learn how, open Disk Utility, go to Help > Disk Utility Help, and type "duplicate dvd" in the search.
