It dropped in the shower, and I pulled it out immediately and took the battery out. Surprisingly, my battery didn't get TOO wet, just like.. two drops of water on the lower part of the battery. my SD card isn't wet at all. I have it sitting in rice. and I'm going to leave it there for a few hours. what are it's chances of making it out okay?

ok DONT turn it on for at least 24 hrs, find silica balls (packets that come in shoe boxes), wrap in kitchen roll (tissue paper) packed with the silica and put in a warm place like near your boiler. (not on it though) and wait until completely dry inside and out. turning it on too early will end in a short circuit which may blow capacitors and all sorts!

Take it apart & put it in a bag of rice! I droped mine in the toilet, dog bowl & glass of big red & it works fine steel! Good luck!:)

Let it dry for a couple of days; ideally, set it in front of a fan AT ROOM TEMPERATURE to dry out anything that got in. Open up any and all compartments and doors that it might have, and if it's the sort of phone that takes a sim card, remove that as well. Don't heat the phone (no hair dryers!) or freeze it (VERY bad idea, as ice crystals can break delicate circuitry connections as they expand). Patience pays off, as a rule, so give it a couple of days, and you have a pretty decent chance of having a working phone.

Good luck!
