I dyed my hair darker brown but its gone ginger. If i put more dye in my hair

will it go a funny colour? My friend dyed my hair the other day and she forgot to do a bit of my roots and now its gone really ginger. If i dyed my hair again would it go a funnier colour? The hair dye is permanent and was meant to go a Chocolate brown. Please help me and give me some advice. x
 
It's gone ginger because chocolate brown is a red based brown, that brings out the red(or ginger) tones of your hair. To dull down the red, buy a dark /ash/ brown colour (this is a green based colour to cancel out the red)..I suggest loreal pro excellence creme dyes, they are really good and don't fade:) good luck.
 
Well, that's what happens once you bleach it. Then you apply the color you want afterwards.
