I find it sort of unfair..?

That colleges would accept a person because of their race even though lets say they have the same gpa and SAT or ACT scores as someone who's a different race. It should have nothing to do with race. I find it absolutely not fair. Like everyone wants to be treated equally right? So then why do lets say a black or Hispanic person has an unfair advantage because of their race to get accepted to a college. Race shouldn't matter period. If you want things to be equal then you shouldn't be putting race into the picture of accepting someone to a college. Your chance of acceptance should be solely based on your abilities and things that you did outside of the classroom in high school and things like that. Don't you agree?

I'm probably going to get a lot of hate answers but whatever it's my opinion. I'm not trying to be rude or anything like that.
