i found an old motorola razr i would like to use as a temp phone but it wont

switch on, drivers? i don't have the charger but i have a usb to mini usb which i can use to connect it to my computer.
do i have to switch the phone on in order to use the drivers?
otherwise i can't use it :-(
any help is appreciated :-)
oh & if you know any safe websites i can get drivers from then feel free!
 
Before you do anything, you have to download the drivers first. You can download from here: Downloads - MobileAction

After downloading, connect your V3 to computer and new device window will pop-up. I don't know the exact wording but you have a choice if you want the comp to search for the driver or for you to do it manually. Do it manually and direct it to the folder or wherever you put the drivers. It should then start to process and when it's done, a window will pop-up saying that your device is ready to be used. Your phone should also be charging at that time too, unless of course the battery is completely dead which would then take about 5 minutes (give or take) to start charging.
