I got a warning for downloading a torrent illegally?

OK. So I did download some torrent and got a phone call. I told them I deleted them and I did. It was extremely stupid of me but my brothers were doing it for years and never got caught.I deleted every torrent I had and uninstalled Vuze and Bit torrent. I'm worried. The guy said that he would put it in that I deleted the illegal downloads. So am I done with it? I won't do it again but what is my risk right now? Thanks

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Yes it is illegal but if you read the news you will seen many companies, especially Google, are tracking users like never before and are even selling our information to people we never knew existed. This is making it easier to be tracked online by the government in what they call an effort to watch for terrorists. It has worked quite well but at the expense of us all being vulnerable with anything we type onto the computer. So don't be worried. You're not the only one being watched, we all are now. Just don't download the torrents or anything else illegall
