Did you enter a sweepstakes with Toyota? Via email? And do you live in the UK?
If you didn't enter any Toyota sweepstakes, how could you have possibly won one? Also, I don't think that a company the size of Toyota would be so cheap to make that big of an announcement to you via only an email.

Just like lotteries- I toss those emails when I get them. If I never buy a lottery ticket, how can I then big the big winner?

Most of those email notifications are phishing scams. They want you to divulge personal information so they can commit identity theft.

Just remember if it's too good to be true, it usually is then- just a scam.

I received an email a couple of years ago stating that I won a contest that Coca-Cola was sponsoring (I drink Pepsi) so I printed the email & went to one of the Coca-Cola bottling plants near where I live and showed the email to the plant manager. He made a couple of phone calls & confirmed my suspicions- it was all a scam & Coke then got their legal department involved to see if they could find out who was using their name to pull off that scam. You may want to do the same with Toyota- contact the dealer where you purchased your car and ask them if they know of any legal contests that Toyota has going on & show them a copy of the email.

Um fake. Some of this information is in the public domain. If you have any question about it call Toyota on the number listed on your loan and ask them about it, they will be interested to know about a scam going on if there is.

it's a scam

when you win a car you can pick it up at your local Toyota dealer and it has nothing to do with anyone in the UK.
