premo's have came true before, what do I?
2nd answerer it is appropriate you say that as my sister (his mum) doesn't keep a good eye on him even near roads.
 
If the premonition is true, then no matter what you do, she will die like that. You can try to stop it, if fate doesn't work like that. :p
 
See it as a warning.
Without freaking anyone out you should try to warn them.
Make it light hearted and just say, oh I was nearly knocked over coming back from the shop.. then just keep going on about checking as you cross the road etc.. and just before you go install in your nephew or nephews parent, the green cross code.

You would be amazed how a catchy tune sticks in the mind of others.
Walk around going, Stop, look and listen.. in a funny voice so your nephew thinks its funny and copies you..
