$35 + 6.95 + 0.75 = 42.7
42.7 plus tax depending on your province...
If ontario... 13% = 48.25

Seems normal...

And it's $0.35 a minute plus tax per overusage minute?

Seems normal to me... Blame the system access fee... the 6.95

ALL COMPANIES are like this...

They have once said, all companies, that the System a fee... which lowers the advertising cost of plans... basically misleading ad's...

Do your research before you sign contracts plz...

Koodo and Fido currently have no SYSTEM ACCESS FEE's

Just rate plan plus tax...

Honestly you can't get out of it... even living in an area with no coverage you are still obligated to finish your contract...

Canadians have been ripped off due to the Big 3...

You let Vodafone from the Rest of the world in... The rates will be better...

Canada has the longest contracts in the world... sucks...

The text stuff... If you do the "TEXT WOW to 55555 or to any 5 digit number, you will get charged...

The texting is only limited to actual CANADIAN PHONE NUMBERS

Other than that you will be charged extra...

Being as stupid as i am, i signed a three year contract with telus! and only NOW am i finding out how much they scam, and rip you off! im only 5 MONTHS in and i already hate them! At first i had the fave 10 plan which is a $35 plan but with taxes they were charging me over $50 ?!?!?! so then i switched to the LOWEST plan they had, which is $20 for minutes and then i had to add a $5 texting plan and im basically getting nothing?! im paying as much tax as i would a normal plan! its ridiculous, im getting charged here and there for stupid text messages when i have them free?! i called them and they're telling me garbage! they wont let me cancel my contract unless i pay $620!? i NEED to figure out a way to cancel my contract! HELP PLEASE! ANYONE KNOW?! have ideas or anything?! will they let me switch to pay-as-you go? if i told them i lost my phone, and they freeze my account would they eventually make me pay? how and when do they change CONTRACT TERMS?! how would i even know anyway? if i found out where the Satellite system does not do coverage and i told them that i'm moving there, would that work? but how would i find out where it doesn't do coverage?! help please!

Ok. Telus is very suckish. I hate them too... Say that they are very unhelpful over the phone and say let me talk to your manager and tell the manager that the employey said you have to pay $1,000 instead so the manager tells you how much it realy is when you already know and he should give you a discount if you ask. And you should not pay them because your phone wasnt sent to you and keep saying it and sell the phones on Ebay that they send you and you should make a great profit. And then pay them. And no matter what every contract has a way of getting out of it. Besides $50 and $25 is not bad unless your a kid like me...
but read the contract over and over and see a small thing that you think you can cancel it.
