one of the indicator lights is on, i can not locate in service Manuel what the indicator light is for...

a round circle with what looks like tire tread on the right and left side of the circle......

Go there, click on 2004 325, download the manuel, and scroll to page 18. From your description, it could either be the brakes or the tires. Check them both to be on the safe side. I know it is not your car, but it has an extensive list of warning lights and their proper meanings!
