but it still wont turn over? when i turn the key the lights and everything come on but it does nothing else but one click noise when i turn the key and i dont know what else could it be and changed spark plugs and wires to. any help

before we put new starter in and all we had to do was tap on it and it would start and when we put new one in then it wouldnt start at all when we tap on it
