I changed fuses but nothing? So I wanted to put a after market stereo and me being dumb I try to do it my self and I cut the wires for the stereo put I didnr unplug the battery and I wasn't able to put in my stereo anyways when I put my stock stereo pack in 2 of the wires touch and made a spark and now the stereo won't turn on the lights won't even turn on but everything works great except the stereo I changed fuses for the stereo put nothing what should I do or is it somthing that would be better to take to the ford dealer to get it fix

Of course you've voided your warranty by fiddling with it, so you might as well go to an audio specialist store and get them to fix the short and fit your aftermarket stereo.

An expensive lesson!

first thing when u replace any electric compnent in ur car disconnect the battery. second use a wire harness instead of being cheap. there are at walmart for less than 20 bucks. plus u probably got rid of ur factory harness. Third u probably fried not only ur new stereo and that harness but ur might have fried the wires leading to the radio. Next time if u r unsure how to do something buy the stereo from a place like best buy they install them for free except for the harness and the stereo kit u may need
