I got my BA in psychology in '08, unfortunately i haven't really done anything with it for several reasons, mainly, I don't feel like it was the best career match for me... so now, over the years I have become very interested in nutrition and dietetics and would like to figure out how to become a nutritionist. It doesn't seem like I'd have to start over completely, but would I have to get another BA for nutrition? or could I go into a masters program for nutrition with the BA I have already. I'm sure there would be some prerequisites I'd have to take but, i dunno, just want to get some advice... Thanks!

Get in touch with the schools that offer the nutrition programs that interest you. You might have to take a few courses before getting into a nutrition masters program, but finding what you are interested in is a great discovery.

Ya exactly! You can go into any masters program basically that doesn't match your bachelors as long as you do the pre-reqs. I'm not sure what area you live in, so I can't look up schools around you to see what the requirements are. But look up masters programs and check. Call the schools for more information. More often than not, they are helpful! good luck on the new career choice.
