I have a Chevrolet Kalos 2007 and have the ABS light coming on can anyone

help please.? The ABS light on the dashboard in the car is coming on and sometimes when I brake a judder is felt from the foot pedal. Can I still drive the car untill the problem is put right? I will take the car to the garage as soon as possible or try and do the job myself if it is possible. Could someone please help me, to tell me what is happening?
 
Disconnect the battery for 10 minutes this may reset the ABS light a
 
This has happened on 2 of my vehicles now and 1 of my friends.
It is usually the ABS sensors which are where your wheels are. They are part of the braking system.
They are electronic and so yours have probably failed. On my friends car the wire attached to the ABS sensor had snapped off and so he needed a whole new hub.
I am good at mechanics and attempted the repair myself on my first car, did the work fine but still had a light up. Turns out that you can't just replace the one sensor and it still has to be reset by the main dealers anyway, best bet is to get them to do it.
 
Disc brakes begin to show wear at approximately 8,000 to 10,000 miles. Many brake pads come with an indicator strip that will make a whistling noise when your brake pad needs to be replaced. However, if you experience any squealing or grinding noises when you step on your brake pedal, you should inspect your brake pads. If you can see excessive wear, you should have your brake pads changed in order to prevent any further damage to your vehicle’s rotors and wheels. At this time also check your rotors and calipers. Calipers may begin to stick and won’t retract all the way when you release your brakes. This can lead to quicker wear on your brake pads. Again, you should always address any noises from your brakes before the problem becomes too serious or dangerous.
