okay so theirs no good way to say this, me and my cousin once removed sorta fell in love. Now before you diced that its just completely gross and theirs something wrong with us, you have to understand we didn't grow up together. We first met when we were about 12 of course than i never really met her i just new of her existence cause i saw her. Im 17 now shes 16 iv only seen her about 3 times since than. The last time i saw here is when we really first met and hung out and had fun together she was in 8th grade i was a freshman. A few months ago we started talking on face book and texted each other all the time. We soon realized we were perfect for each other it was so easy to be our selves we can tell each other anything and i mean anything. Were gonna hang out December 12 she has this play thing im going up to philly to see her were hanging at her house after words. my other cousin from down here in south jersey is coming with me, iv told him our citation he supports us. but we hate the fact were cousins we no its wrong even if it is legal in PA and NJ we don't like it. We have such strong feelings for each other but its nothing physical we are rather innocent with our thoughts the farthest i would ever go is an innocent kiss. and she agrees. We really just wanna make each other happy, shes recently said i was the best thing ever to happen to her and i believe shes the same for me, now i ask you is it really wrong that we like each other this way.id like to make clear that shes my cousin first before anything im not gonna hurt her anymore than i have to and im not completely taking her out of my life no matter what happens. shes my great uncles daughter for the people who don't know what once removed means
if you read what i said you would realize its not the law our relationship is perfectly legal in most of the united states. also so what if its my blood my blood is my blood big deal explain to me whats wrong and if you say something like our kids would come out wrong you obviously didn't understand me when i said we would never take it that far.

Can you both find comfort in being best friends? You can have an amazing relationship with someone who totaly understands you without the wrong parts (sex and stuff). Plus, if you stick to just best friends (NO benefits!!) you dont run the risk of sex ruining everything!

It doesn't matter that you didn't grow up together. You're still blood relatives. So, a relationship (other than the normal friends and cousins type) is strictly out of bounds.

It's not just a social more. It's also the law.

So you can marry your first cousin.

Marriage between first cousins has always been permitted by the Anglican & Episcopalian Churches. It is forbidden in the Roman Catholic Çhurch, however the Bishop can give a dispensation & permit the marriage.

First cousins are the nearest degree of cousinage. There can be problems with the children of cousin marriages. The daughter of friends who were first cousins was severely mentally retarded & they never had the nerve to try again. On the other hand I come from such a tiny part of Tasmania that there were only four families of equal social class to marry, so there's a lot of cousin marriage in my family tree. Explains alot.

thats really unfortunate that you guys are blood related. im kind of torn about what to say. it sounds like you guys love each other but being blood related makes it too taboo in our society. go move to some small village where its accepted and then love each other there hahah. good luck
