that much lower...? I have a really good laptop cooling fan that keeps the surface of my laptop (where my hands rest) relatively cool. I have Speedfan, and according to that, the temperature is a little high at some points (42 degrees Fahrenheit or so)
When I unplug the fan, it's 40 and under most of the time.
I have heard that plugging a fan into the laptop is redundant because it takes energy to power the fan, and therefore causing the laptop to work harder and become hotter.
So basically, the laptop feels alot cooler, but the Speedfan temp says otherwise. Should I still use this fan?
