...cheap dual players for people like me? Are companys going to leave HDDVD customers out to dry or will dual format players be made available. I have spent so much money on HDDVD, if they dont do something to make me and im sure many others happy ill stick to DVDs

so sorry to hear to spent so much money on HD DVD , but why did you spent money in a ne technology , one that wasin a format war

Let me give a bit of advice as an HD-DVD owner myself....Both you and I along with thousands of others, made a choice to buy into an early technology, KNOWING that there was another format that could win. No matter what some people, and possibly yourself may think, Toshiba and HD-DVD owe you nothing, you bought their products, they work perfectly fine. That being said, I don't see Dual players dropping in price any time soon, seeing how they are in such high demand now that the format was is over, and all the HD-DVD people are looking to buy these. If you already have an HD-DVD player, why bother getting a dual player anyway? Keep it, just buy a cheap blu-ray player, (lowest is about $350) and use them both. A dual player wont cost you any less than $700 right now, for sure will change sometime in the future though.
