...this a problem? I was anemic (8.5 hgb) and took iron 3 times a day for a month and finally got it up to a normal level along with the other blood counts. Last blood work said I had 13888 for retic absolute count (normal btwn 20000 and 90000) and rdw of 26.6 (normal 11.5-14.5) Reticuloctye count is normal and IRF is normal.
