i have a mitsubishi tv and a while back the lamp went out. ive replaced the lamp

Sound like the power board on the tv is broken. I had a 65" Mitsubishi rear projection that the power board went out. They wanted $500 to replace the board, I gave it away and purchased a 50" Panasonic Plasma. It is not cost effective in repairing the tv than just buying a new one with better technology. Hope this will help you out.

I assume the set works? but the status light blinks? With the set off--open the lamp door again--wait a few seconds then replace it--turn the set on and it should ask you if you replaced the lamp? Answer yes and this will reset the lamp timer or error code
