I have a new mac, how can I make internet searches anonymous?

I have a mac that i use for work and personal use..whenever i search anything it shows up in history and i know how to clear that, but it also highlights the sites that i have opened i.e. the text turns from blue to purple...how can I avoid this .. I want all searches to have no history?
