i have a question about blind spot mirrors?

on my car it has double mirrors, the passenger side already has a blind spot mirror, but i was thinking about putting 1 of those stick on blind spot mirrors on the drivers mirror> are they any useful or is just a waste of money and where on the mirror should i stick it to do the best job?
 
I have one and I can't imagine life without it! The only drawback is that you can really misjudge the distance of a vehicle that's behind you instead of beside you. It's always good to doublecheck with a second mirror.

I have mine mounted on the lower outside corner of the mirror.
