For my homework, i have to explain some allusions having to do with Christ and Santiago. I've never read the Bible, so I am COMPLETELY LOST. Here are the questions... I need if possible a direct quote from the book, and some commentary... at least please explainwhat these mean!

Allusion: Golgotha (place of skulls)

Allusion: Santiago pausing and stubbling 5 times

SKULL — the bony foundation of the human face. Three of the gospels state that Jesus was crucified at Golgotha, or Place of a Skull (Matt. 27:33; Mark 15:22; John 19:17). Some scholars believe this name was given to the site because it looks like a skull from a distance. Also see Calvary; Golgotha.
