i am in 11th standard an i am very fond of reading and writing. my teachers and family praise the short stories i write during my free time. for 4 years i have been making a story in my mind, which has turned out to be very huge. it consists of 2 generations of sub-stories, each consisting of three books, as i have outlined it to be for now. i even started writing the first one. but by the third chapter i realized that only having a story is not enough. a short story is different from a novel. one should know how to describe feelings, events, things and situation. i realized that making a discription interesting can be very difficult. sometimes i don't get the words to describe. can someone tell me how can i get some helpful tips on discription?
