just bought a galvanized boat with a suzuki dt8c outboard manual start motor, i never owned a boat personally so im lost on even the first thing to do but have enough common sense to not start the motor without water! problem is the guy gave me the ear muffs which he never used either so i have no idea where to place them! theres 2 screws on either side 1 says oil the other says flush but the flush one isnt located at a flat spot its in a cornered spot so im thinking thats to flush the oil! any how does any one know if there are even any muff holes or do i have to put it in a bucket of water and if so how high does the water have to be?
