I have an airline travel question?

I am preparing for a vacation to miami. I heard that u can only bring 3 oz liquids on board. Is it ok for me to put my shampoo, conditioner, mouthwash, etc. into clear, label less containers? i am not sure if the stuff i use comes in travel size. what i'm saying is, will the airline throw away my stuff if there is no label on it? i don't think i want to check a bag for fear of checking fees and lost luggage.
