I have an iphone 3gs, how can i get a iphone 4g?

I only got it a few months ago, i have full insurance on it and everything. but just wondering if there would be something i could say to o2 to get a upgrade to a 4g.
 
Sorry, they will probably say, "Give us 500 bucks and her you go."
 
Well you could drive to your local retailer and purchase one. I believe there is an upgrade program, but that is only for women.
