So I'm unable to screw the new dvd drive in fully, do to the build of the case, as it's attached at the left side and anything short of taking it completely apart, I won't be able to screw the left side into the bay.
But since the computer case is a "convertible" type (I've never worked with one before), it shows an illustration on the door panel of how to convert the drives to a convertable style. I'm thinking this might somehow help me reach the side I can't screw in. But I can't make heads or tails of what the illustration wants me to do.
Here is a picture of it. What do the instructions mean? How do I do it? The PC is a Compaq d530. Any other suggestions to getting to the left side of the drive bay on this kind of PC?
