i have tried connecting my phone to it but it does not find it.
there seems to be only one way of turning the bluetooth on via a button on the side of the laptop but as soon as i press it a message come up on screen saying no devies found. do i have to setup a connection or should it just reconise the device. thanks

Your laptop has only a button which do not have a bluetooth device attach to it, So when you press this button it gives you a message no Bluetooth device, If you have read the manuals of your laptop its written there that this is an optional accessories that you have to pay in additional and have it installed from the store you are buying your laptop, But anyway you can just buy a USB bluetooth device to attach to your computer, It does'nt cost much.

No. If the laptop has bluetooth, it has a bluetooth receiver built-in. If you get a computer without bluetooth you would have to buy a dongle to receive and send bluetooth signals. In your case, you wont need to.

Try connecting to it using your mobile phone, assuming you have bluetooth on that!

If you have problems connecting, you may need to install bluetooth drivers and need to contact the manufacturer to get the latest version.

No you only need an adapter for a PC that doesn't have Bluetooth. You do so you can just use it straight away!
