Could I have missed it? Am baffled as to why she was so flirty and now everthing has calmed down. She was flirty with my other dog (a border collie female) and being VERY friendly with her toys. I was intending to mate her. Have I missed her season? or was that just a practice?

I have two lhasa's a male and female, my female on the whole doesn't have a ghost season but they have been known to if the behaviour stops for a month and seems to start up again u should be ok, otherwise you may have to wait

Just wait for the second heat cycle if this was her first. She shouldn't be bred at first cycle anyway.
We raise Shih Tzu's but have 2 lasa mixes & we are going to breed the lasa female on the 2nd which will be pretty soon. Be sure to keep track of her time of the heat cycle very carefully as well as her temp, so if you want puppies can breed her on the right day(S) & you will get them.
