i have problem in transfering music from pc to iphone ( 2g version 3.1.3).

whats problem. the one who will hel? i want is to sync my music onto my iphone but in the midst of syncing these messages always pop up "The iPhone [name of iPhone cannot be synced. An error occurred while writing to the device." "The required disk cannot be found" then something else pops up about a song not being able to be synced to my iphone then it disconnects. Or if those don't pop up, another thing pops up that says itunes is being non responsive or it needs to end and there are those buttons "don't send" or "dont send error report" that kind of thing. Usually it says 30 songs or so have been synced to the iphone but when i disconnect the usb and check my iphone the songs arent on and it says theres no content at all. i have no idea what to do and this is frustrating me so much. someone
one thing more that i have latest version of itune.
