I have set my t-mobile phone to work abroad but it still doesn't work, help?

I have signal, I can receive calls and texts but every time I try to send a text it just tells me it's 'barred'. What can I do to make it work?

Ive always had the same Problem even if i've purchased a add on to use outside the UK. Tenerife, Crete, France & Belgium, mines not worked in any of the countries. Just remember to turn your data Roaming off
