I have skinny legs. How can I bulk up my legs so that they match my upper body?

You get your legs big, the same way you got you upper body big: you lift like crazy.

Its not genetics if you hit the gym 5 days a week and all you work out is your upper body. You need at least 1 day of a solid leg workout, and this should be the day you go all out and work those legs harder than any other muscle group.

If you can gain upper body muscle, you can gain leg muscle.
 
ME TOO. Life is hell with these chicken legs I have, just like all of you. Kids are cruel, Im always abused about it. it really sucks. I guess we all just have to put up with this crap for the rest of our lives.
 
Me too ...uhhhhh ,, it's soo annoying .. I am really skinny all over an I eat a ton!! I eat healthy aswell so I don't know what's wrong o.O I always feel really self-conscious and wish I could just be like everyone else:( but lately I have been growing so I think I might be bulking up my legs a little :D I train 4night a week 2 of which are fitness:) I am really fit and strong it's just my image doesn't look that way:/ I know a few girls like me 2 but the majority I know have normal legs ... Guess all of us grow at different times and we'll just have 2 accept that:)

I am a man and I LOVE skinny legs and I knew a LOT of my friends love it as well!
I wish my future wife will have skinny legs, it is VERY sexy!
DO NOT get weight! Do NOT waste your sharm! With age anyway you will put more on weight and probably will very regret of putting on weight and doing some excersises to gain muscle.
Girls with bulging legs is absolutely NOT atractive.

i am really skinny i can wear things but dont want to go out with skinny legs afraid that people will judge my legs my friend is fatter than me i weigh 7 stones and sizes 6 or 8 please help me :(

Im 24 and seems my legs are getting skinnier. About 3 months ago i decided enough is enough.

I noticed one of the most attractive thing about a man is muscular legs to a girl I dont have them.

Anyway i started to train my legs at the end of each gym sesh for about 20 mins. Noticed they got a little bigger but the next day I woke up, looked the same as usual.

So now im using Arnold Schwarzneggers theory on legs. 1 month now, smallest gains so far but YOU MUST BE PATIENT. It can take years to build upper body so why would lower body be different.

Im sticking to this for 2+ years:

5 sets of 10 calf raises (lift very heavy to the point your pushing yourself to the max)

3 sets of Squats (Again lift very heavy)

3 sets of hamstring raises

3 sets of lunges

You'll notice your arse starts getting bigger but this is good.

To the people who say its genetics thats defeatist and winey. Gain some dominance and motivate yourself.

If have puny legs, as a teenager they wasnt so bad.. why? because i played football regularly and cycled to school everyday.

Since i gave that all up my legs have become like pogo sticks.. my point is you can do something.. im at least going to try
 
I might just buy some 2000 calorie shake powder and work it off my upper body.
It isn't the way you were created, some people just have slight differences in lifestyles that alters bigger things like that

i have the same problem but i think its possible to over come , im a guy who wears skinny jeans (not extreamly tight) and i never noticed how skinny my legs are , but everyone els did.. idc i still wear tight pants but w.e. i work out alot ,, but only on my upper body, i tried leg exercises but nothing has seem to work i bmx, flips on the ground but i feel like running and stuff like that just makes them worst, but im not giving up i used to think my arms would stay small forever but i trained on those bitches and i bulked up , i think we should all hit they gym on our legs doin the leg machines, not the tredmill or bike the weights.. goodluck..!
