the Whamo Toy factory, is there any vali? a plastic extrusion plant in Mass. had tubes of plastic coming from one of the presses. Mr. Nault took a section of tubing added a wooden plug to connect both ends thus the hula hoop, he sold his idea to the whamo toy company and they proceeded to make it a favorite toy for the younger generatyion.
