i introduced a new guinea pig to my old one and I don't know if they like each other?

Ok so i have a 5 month old guinea pig, and i just introduced a baby guinea pig to her. They are both girls. So when I added the new guinea pig, they kinda sniffed each other at first, but then the older guinea pig started to chase her around which was fine but then they would start sniffing each and other then freeze, and then suddenly burst and fly around the cage and then stop. But then they were eating together fine. it's al really new to me, so could u tell me if there gonna b cool?

They sound like they will be fine just give them some time
 
a good idea if you have a C&C cage then use some extra cubes to split the cage in half so the see adn smell each other but can not fight
on floor time let them play together they may fight a little but if it gets out of hand you will need to brack it up remember they want to find the leader
after they seem cool then take out the split
 
They will probably be just fine, to me it sounds likke they were just putting each other in their places then getting to know each other by sniffing. The sniffing is good though, they are just getting to get to know each other. Good Luck
 
they sound fine just keep a watch if they start fighting to separate them. but if they calm down from when you first put the new gp inside they are fine.
