I just adore lounging around in vintage full slips! Did any of you ladies...

...enjoy wearing them back in the day? or were they just mainly functional and you were happy to get out of them ?

The ones I have are just so silky and comfortable and guys seem to really like them too!

Yes, oddly enough I have seen a man try on one of my pretty slips, and yes it was quite funny, I'm laughing right now remembering it
 
Always hated wearing a slip, even as a kid! Once I heard Oprah say she doesn't wear one because they only thing you see through a skirt is legs, that was enough for me. Haven't worn one since!
 
Have some in a bottom drawer but never wear them under a dress. Just seem like an extra piece of clothing with no real purpose. Never thought to wear them around the house but I guess they could double as a summer nightgown.
 
I like to lounge around in sweats (cold weather only) and socks. They are so warm and comfy. In warm weather I just dress to go out in my flowers and work. I get up late on winter mornings and early in summer. I have never liked slips. Poppy
 
I hated slips!! My mom wore one in summer; especially when she was ironing. She'd stand in her bra & panties & 1/2 slip to iron.
I haven't owned a full slip is sooooo many years!! I think I own 2 1/2 slips....a long one & a short one. Don't know why since I never wear skirts or dresses.
For me, the less clothes, the better!
