...get a new policy? The reason they stated was an accident I had that was not my fault ( insurance company recovered everything they paid out for fixing my car and I even got my deductible back) and a second accident that we had when my husband was driving that we were hit broadside on a parkway.... Obviously not our fault. We have been insured by this company for forty years....
I forgot to add that we have impeccable driving records and have never gotten a ticket.
 
I have progressive but I also have an agent. I would call your agent if you have one--b/c they will NOT want to lose you as a customer. If you really like the insurance company I would go as far as you can and complain and even deal to get it lower. But I'm sure there are many insurance companies that won't your business.
