I just got Need 4 Speed Undercover on the ps2, where's all the cars?

Okay, i got the game NEW unopened and i beet in 2 weeks of sparse playing. Before buying it i watched a video on Youtube showing the full car list for the x-box and PC version. i beet the game and barely half the cars in the below video are in the ps2 version. Did i get a really cheap version? did i do sompthing wrong, or is the ps2 to old to handle the game?
