So I was talking to my friend (girl) in the grade above mine and she found out I'm friends with this other girl (Ana). Then she started telling me (and she's a pretty trustworthy girl) about all these rumors she's heard about Ana getting drunk and hooking up with a bunch of guys. I've never even seen Ana drunk or anything, and I've never seen her do anything promiscuous at all, so I was totally shocked. She's basically my best friend. I still don't believe it either, because Ana usually talks about how she doesn't really care about dating, etc (though she just recently got a boyfriend). Anyway, what do I do? Do I tell Ana about these rumors? I'm thinking I shouldn't, because it doesn't seem like she can do anything about it even if she knows and I don't want to insult her, but people who hardly even know her think she's a slut...
