I just reformatted my computer - need help internet connection?

im with Telstra Wireless & i reformatted my computer now and i put my USB Wireless in and it doesnt ACtivate at all....my modem is on and is working but wen i go to a web page it just says Cannot Find server etc...
ive tried to set up a new connection via networks and connections.
and i have no idea what to do now ive tried everything.
i dont have or cant find a Installation CD.
so im guessing i have to get hold of one of these to get it up and running?

any suggestions on what to do? thank in advance

i have a NETGEAR Wireless USB Adapter WG111v2
 
You'll need to install the drivers associated with your USB wireless device. You can generally find the drivers at the USB-device manufacturers (i.e. Linksys) website...if you can find a way to get there with another computer :).
