I just wonder sometimes, why Christians are more close/friendly to Jews rather than

Muslims? As per the christianity beliefs, Jews were the ones who killed Jesus and who made fun of Mary... Why jews are friends then?? As per muslims belief, Jesus was the Prophet of GOD, GOD sent the holy book Bible through him and Jesus was not killed, he was just ascended to the GOD and he will be descend to the Earth, before End times to kill the Anti-Christ, the Dajjal. Whats wrong in that??? The ones who have belief in Jesus become the enemy and the ones who killed the Jesus became Friends??? Why??? Anybody got the answer??
 
Jesus is the Jewish Messiah who was killed by Roman government officials after being incited to do so by Jewish religious leaders,not the majority of the Jewish population.Christianity is based on the teachings of Jesus who taught from Jewish Bible scriptures.On the contrary Islam is based on the teachings of a sin-ridden man who created a fanatical religion which embraces violence and hate in complete contradiction to Jesus' teachings.:(
 
I believe the OP has raised a quiet interesting question.

for a long time Christians have resented most Jewish people and expelled many of them, and one of the causes of this rejection is religion. and suddenly we see Jewish people leading our economy, media and even thought. what happened?

btw, Ive read a verse in the muslim scripture the Quran that complements some Christians for being humble!

as for DrDeans reply, well.. in every human community there is violence and hate, and so many violence had been done in the name of Christianity. so lets not forget that some people take advantage of people‘s love of religion to make them do atrocious things. and this is one of the strongest arguments of atheists, that religions are the source of evil because bad things are done in their name, which is a blatant fallacy, because any crazy person can do horrible things and say " proud to be American!" but that doesn't mean Americans are like that.

and Ive once saw a youtube of a jewish researcher who claimed to have studies the Quran and talks about it in a way different than it is depicted in our media, her name is Lesley Hazleton.

so still. whts the deal with the Christian-jewish close relationship? even though we are closer to Islam in ideology than Judaism?
