I live in the U.S. Can I buy items from the Amazon UK store? How do I know

how much it is in...? ...dollars?
I'm trying to buy the Easy Virtue DVD. I know it's Region 2 but i can play it on my computer. How do I know how much the total will be in dollars?

Do I have to sign in the Amazon.uk store or can I sign in the regular store and go to the amazon.uk store with the link at the bottom?
