I need help from Dodge truck mechanics?

I just purchased a 94 model ram 1500 4X4, 318 auto, and I need to replace the front driver side Universal joint that's on the axle.I know how to do it but my question is this,which direction do I turn the spindle nut to take it off? I have been told that some are to the right and some are to the left so does anyone know for sure which way it is? The threads are not visible enough to see for myself and I don't want to break anything if I can help it. Professional help will be greatly helpful. Thanks.
 
Ok... I own a 1994 Dodge Ram 1500 5.2L 318 2W/D reg. cab short bed... Almost 300k miles and still goin strong! I dont know for sure which way it actually turns... But if you just give enough pressure to bust it loose. Dont try to kill it obviously or youll end with a bigger problem. It will only go one way it it is tight...
